Glazed roofing contractors, Acclaim Contracts saw the main focal point of this £800k + roofing project encompassing the replacement of the main atrium running the full length of the school’s main block. This vast space included the busy front entrance and reception area.
An internal scaffold crash deck was required. This was erected at the start of the summer holiday period followed by the complete removal of the existing glazed atrium sections and installation of the new glazed sections. All works in this area were completed ahead of the new September term.
Barrel rooflights were replaced over the sports hall and a large pyramid rooflight was also replaced.Â
