Solar PV Project at Clements Hall Leisure Centre

Our team at Acclaim is very pleased to have been appointed to install photovoltaic (PV) panels at Clements Hall Leisure Centre in Essex, as part of an exciting project to provide the facility with a reliable and sustainable power supply.

Working as the Main Contractor for Rochford Council, our 10-week programme will deliver the following scope of works:

• Scaffolding
• Installation of roof edge protection and material hoist
• Clearing/preparation of existing roof waterproofing
• Installation of new waterproofing
• Fitting of solar photovoltaic array
• All associated electrical infrastructure works
• Installation of permanent safety handrail

Working closely with the Structural Engineer to assess the roof’s load-bearing capacity to ensure safety and stability as a priority, our project is now well underway and the installation is making quick progress.

Completing at the end of March, our teams are working very hard to ensure that our presence causes minimal disruption to the staff and visitors at the centre, ensuring that this important community-serving facility remains fully operational and uninterrupted throughout.
