Bauder Vapour Barrier - 3.5mm thick aluminium lined vapour barrier, fully bonded to the existing asphalt covered deck.
Bauder PIR Flatboard Insulation - 100mm thick rigid insulation fully bonded to the vapour barrier.
Bauder Underlayer - 4mm thick, glass fibre reinforced bitumen underlayer partially bonded to the insulation.
Bauder Root Resistant Layer - 5mm thick root resistant capping sheet bonded to the underlayer dressed up 150mm above the finished landscape surface.
Bauder Upstands, Edge Details and Flashings - as current British Codes of Practice.
Bauder Filtration and Drainage Layer - 20mm thick filtration laid over the waterproofing.
Bauder Vegitation Blanket - 28mm nominal thickness, excluding growth, Sedum combination blanket with integral moisture retention fleece dressed tightly to the drainage trim at the perimeters.

Description:
The works involved new waterproofing, including insulation and a green roof to a covered walkway, plant rooms and lift motor rooms above a busy High Street Shopping Centre in Uxbridge.
The new roof was laid adjacent to residential buildings and required careful detailed design at waterproofing / cladding junctions. Rainwater drains were either re-routed or raised to overcome existing issues with rainwater discharge and ponding. Existing plant and equipment was removed to allow the waterproofing works to be completed, following which, the plant and equipment was reinstalled and re-commissioned.
The works were completed on time, snag free and to budget.
