Description:
Marks and Spencer wanted to develop a sustainable Cycle and Trolley Park for their stores across the UK. The INSITE Exhibition, which took place at the Building Research Establishment (BRE) was used to showcase the Marks and Spencer prototype.
INSITE was held, in part, to encourage Government, Industry and other Key Stakeholders to work together to raise the profile of the very latest in innovative methods of construction and cutting edge but practical and affordable sustainability.
Acclaim Contracts Limited were delighted to be involved in this project and provided the labour free of charge. The exercise was also used to provide ‘in-house' Green Roof Training for three of our roofing operatives.
The work was completed in two visits and Marks and Spencer were delighted with the outcome. Their Blueprint for the Cycle and Trolley Park prompted huge interest from visitors to INSITE and they are now looking to promote the concept nationally.
