Description:
Waterproofing to balconies and vent shafts required a significant amount of detail work to be undertaken in very restricted areas. Limited storage on this very restricted new-build site required materials to be lifted by tower crane to the roof areas for temporary storage, which further complicated the roof covering programme.
Part of the project was handed over to Tesco's Stores to allow fit-out works to commence ahead of the residential apartments, so it was important that all waterproofing to these areas was completed in accordance with the programme and fully inspected and tested.
