Awards
Acclaim Contracts Limited have been awarded the prestigious Roofing Industry Alliance Hallmarked Certificate.
This has been achieved by only nine contractors across Great Britain, four of which are specialist flat roofing contractors.
The Minister for Construction presented RIA Hallmarked Certificates to the first nine contractors to have completed the RIA Hallmarking assessment process.
Managing Director of Acclaim Contracts Limited, Mr Peter La-Thangue commented, ‘We are delighted to be one of the first contractors to receive RIA Hallmarking which demonstrates Acclaim Contracts commitment to quality, service and workmanship.’
The MInister said "The RIA Hallmarked Scheme has been designed to meet Clients’ needs. To be successful clients must now take over and lead from the front. They need to demand first class quality of work, standards and management. They need to demand the RIA Hallmarked Scheme.
Student of the Year Award for Clare Armsden
Clare Armsden, Contracts Surveyor, was presented with the David Coates Student of the Year Award, for passing her Institute of Roofing exams. Clare achieved what were regarded as exceptional marks in her Associate exam. Clare has been with Acclaim Contracts for four years now and has excelled in her pursuit of excellence.
Clare has not experienced any prejudice being a female in a male dominated industry, and enjoys the comaradery that working for Acclaim brings.
Clare was surprised and delighted to have been awarded Student of the Year again and is looking forward to developing here role within Acclaim Contracts with the use of the extensive knowledge that she has gained from this years course.
